O Transgressões Cerâmicas é uma seleção de 73 artistas visuais que transformam a cerâmica contemporânea no Brasil. Por meio de suas pesquisas artísticas, eles são responsáveis por promover questionamentos, chamar atenção para causas importantes e posicionar a cerâmica em seu merecido lugar nas artes plásticas. Fruto da parceria entre as empresas Artenz Consulting, Subsolo Laboratório de Arte e Tauá Cerâmica, a publicação apresenta seu conteúdo em inglês e português, com um design único que buscou valorizar cada uma das obras apresentadas. Com prefácio escrito por Cayo Vinícius, a publicação conta ainda com uma série de outros textos: 'Ceramistas são pessoas de coração grande' por Cris Rocha, a idealizadora do Transgressões Cerâmicas, conta sua trajetória na cerâmica, os percalços e prazeres de ser um ceramista e como surgiu a ideia para o projeto. 'Este não é um livro de cerâmica', escrito por Andrés I. M. Hernández, curador do projeto, o artigo discute sobre a valorização da cerâmica na arte, a experiência de curadoria do projeto e a importância dos trabalhos apresentados por cada artista. 'Perfil Heloísa Alvim', o artigo escrito por Regina Rocha Pitta narra a história de Heloísa no Brasil e no exterior, acompanhando os passos que a tornaram uma artista reconhecida em todo o mundo 'Norma Grinberg e suas transgressões desde a cerâmica', sendo conhecida como uma das mais proeminentes artistas brasileiras, Norma tem sua história narrada neste texto-entrevista escrito por Andrés I. M. Hernández, avaliando a importância de seu trabalho no Brasil.
Transgressões Cerâmicas" is a selection of 73 visual artists who are transforming contemporary ceramics in Brazil. Through their artistic research, they are responsible for promoting critical inquiry, drawing attention to important causes, and positioning ceramics in its rightful place within the fine arts. The result of a partnership between the companies Artenz Consulting, Subsolo Laboratório de Arte, and Tauá Cerâmica, the publication presents its content in English and Portuguese, featuring a unique design that sought to highlight each of the presented works.
With a preface written by Cayo Vinícius, the publication also includes a series of other texts: 'Ceramists are big-hearted people' by Cris Rocha, the creator of Transgressões Cerâmicas, recounts her journey in ceramics, the challenges and joys of being a ceramist, and how the idea for the project emerged. 'This is not a ceramics book,' written by Andrés I. M. Hernández, the project's curator, the article discusses the appreciation of ceramics in art, the curatorial experience of the project, and the importance of the works presented by each artist. 'Heloísa Alvim Profile,' the article written by Regina Rocha Pitta, narrates Heloísa's story in Brazil and abroad, tracing the steps that made her an internationally recognized artist. 'Norma Grinberg and her transgressions through ceramics,' known as one of Brazil's most prominent artists, Norma's story is narrated in this interview-text written by Andrés I. M. Hernández, evaluating the significance of her work in Brazil.
